During this activity, we divide everyone into groups of a maximum of ten people. Each group represents as a team a microbrewery in competition with the other groups. The goal is to brew a beer but also to convince fictitious investors (also participants) to invest in your brewery!

After a short introduction, each team organises itself and divides the different roles: management, production, quality control, marketing & sales, … Each role has its own responsibilities so that everyone is busy during the activity. Afterwards, each team receives the necessary material and ingredients to brew a beer from A to Z.

The participants themselves choose the recipe they would like to brew. The brewing activity is supervised by experienced brewers who will answer all the questions the participants may have. During the brewing process, each team must also come up with an original and fun presentation. This will have to be presented to potential investors at the end of the activity. The team explains the name of the brewery, the design of the label and other elements the team provides. After a short deliberation, the activity ends with the announcement of the winner(s).

The participants also get the chance to taste different ingredients during the activity. The aim is to demonstrate the influence of these ingredients on the taste of the beer. Three months later we deliver the beer that you brewed during the day of the activity so that everyone can (fine) taste the home-brewed beer.
